A Sister's Love
Over these past few weeks I've been trying to figure out "why?" I knew that God had taken you from this world for a reason, but "why?". It hadn't dawned on me until now after speaking with Auntie that you knew it was going to be your time and you were preparing us for your departure. From every prayerful thing you did to all the things you've accomplished you were letting us know that everything will be all right. On May 27, 2007, a few days before Kyle's birthday, he wrote a reflection on Romans 8:32-39:
32He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36As it is written:
"For your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered."[a] 37No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[b] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Kyle's Response:
"More than Conquerers"
"Times in our Journey that God abandons us.
We are all more than conquerers.
We would never live without War.
In the Bible there are rumors of war.
Always something that turns brother against brother or family against family.
Soldiers lose lives for no just cause.
Paul tries to teach us that there are problems in our life and we have to just believe in God.
Why are christians worried about how people feel about us?
With God on our side, we do not need to worry.
It does not matter who is against us because God is with us.
Some people live for the moment but the moment is not long enough."
My brother was TRULY an angel and although I miss him dearly I must let my selfishness subside and let GOD. To my family, all of Kyle's friends, and those who knew Kyle, he is all right!! "Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart." -Psalm 37:
